New Series of Solid-State Lasers

From Fibers to 500 W Rod Lasers

Completely air-cooled laser marker

Remove, Clean and Insulate with Lasers:
ROFIN Macro presents a New Series of Solid-State Lasers

ROFIN Macro extends its broad product portfolio by establishing new q-switched solid-state lasers in the high power range. Besides the lasers for classical applications like welding, cutting and hardening, ROFIN now offers prime products also for surface removal and cleaning. The possibilities are various: the removal of metallic coating of Tailored Blanks, the insulation of solar cell edges, the machining of flat screens or activating surfaces.
The lasers of the DQ Series are based on the successful diode-pumped Nd:YAG lasers and are available as Standard, Premium and Premium+, differ in power, pulse energy and equipment. More ...

From Fiber Lasers to 500 W Rod Lasers

ROFIN Micro has a new structure of lasers for fine welding. With the fiber laser StarFiber and the completely redesigned pulsed YAG rod laser StarPulse, the company covers almost all fields of applications optimally.
In short the technical data of the new family of welding lasers: pulse peak power 10 W - 20 kW, average power 40 - 500 W, pulse width 0.1 - 50 ms, pulse energy 10 mJ - 120 J. All lasers feature the same user interface and system interface, and can be operated with fast galvo deflection head technology. All ROFIN laser sources are modular and compact, some of them with removable operator control panel, and can be integrated into automation solutions without any difficulty. A comprehensive fiber kit allows the laser source to be sited remotely from the work cells. Read more ...

Completely air-cooled laser marker

To expand its wide range of products which meet various, demanding customer requirements, ROFIN's Marking Division presents an efficient, completely air-cooled laser marker of the PowerLine E family. The diode- pumped solid state PowerLine E Air with its compact laser head -measuring only 500 mm- integrates easily and requires only little maintenance. Each component of the new laser system works with efficient air-cooling. There is no necessity for heat exchanging devices or conventional water circulation in the laser head. Integration potential and efficiency of the laser source are considerably increased. The control and the supply modules of the PowerLine E Air are housed in standard 19“ modules. The power consumption of the complete system is as low as 500 watts. The PowerLine E Air marks a wide variety of materials with perfect quality. Using a sophisticated software platform, the laser system is easily configured for each specific task.
Not just laser beam sources - innovative all-in-one solutions designed for a large variety of applications are in focus of the LASER trade show 2007. Read more ...
