ROFIN-SINAR Hamburg increases production capacity

The extraordinarily high demand for our patented CO₂ Slab lasers has required us to increase the capacity of our Hamburg facility. Compared to the previous year, the production capacity has risen by more than 50%, and further steps are in preparation in order to support future expansion. Beside the excellent business opportunities in Europe, the Asian markets are helping to power future growth.

ROFIN’s diffusion-cooled CO₂ Slab lasers are available from 1,000 W to 8,000 W and are the perfect tools for a wide variety of industrial applications. The main application field is cutting of sheet metal, but many units are used for welding and surface treatment. On the EMO 2007 stand, we will show the ROFIN DC 050, the highest power model for cutting of sheet metal. More

New fiber lasers for micro applications

Due to extraordinary small spot sizes the welding performance of the new fiber lasers is a magnitude higher than other systems for suitable applications.
