Laser Cutting
Typical materials
One of the basic advantage of laser technology is the
ability to cut an enormously wide range of materials.
Depending on the laser source used, it is possible
to cut gold, brass, alpacca, aluminium, stainless steel,
titanium, copper, wood, acrylic, fibreglass and others
materials with thickness up to 5 mm.
Extremely small kerf width and minimum HAZ (Heat Affected
Zone), ideal for cutting precious metals.
The exhausting and recycling of the cutting powders
and vapours can be easily done.

StarCut Universal
Thanks to the modular housing concept, you can most easily change the or the StarCut Universal to an open laser class IV device. Normally, the large processing chamber and max. four highly precise Nc-controlled axes with 600 x 300 x 200 mm (optional 800 x 400) travel should suffice. Round work pieces and two-dimensional up to simple three-dimensional geometries can be processed fast and efficiently. |
