Housing
Faster, buckle-free spot welding of stainless steel on a zinc-coated
drive housing. The use of two glass fibers at the same time allows
welding on both sides of the housing. This completely precludes
buckling. In inaccessible components such as drive housings, conventional
resistance welding is very difficult, because of the limited access.
Because of the close manufacturing tolerances, the housing must
not be bent or stressed during seaming. So the laser, with its short
welding duration and slight warming effect, is the ideal tool for
this purpose, too.
