CO2 SERVICE ENGINEER

We currently have a vacancy for an engineer to provide maintenance and support to a wide range of CO2 laser systems, based out of our Daventry office.

As a Rofin engineer you will need to provide a professional approach to your work and in dealing with customers. The role will involve fault diagnosis and preventative maintenance at customer sites throughout the UK and Ireland as well as office-based telephone support. Extensive training will be provided however experience in lasers, optical alignment and CNC systems would be desirable.

The ideal candidate would have:

• Engineering background with relevant professional qualification or equivalent
• Flexible attitude and ability to work without supervision in a customer driven environment
• Good computing skills – outlook, excel, basic CAD systems
• knowledge of electronic, electrical and pneumatic systems
• Ability to perform fault analysis with a confident, logical approach
• Clean driving license.

Production Manager

To work as part of a small team involved in the design of special purpose industrial laser systems. Responsibility will extend to project managing each machine as it is built, with emphasis on build quality and on-time finish.

Laser experience is not necessary but would be useful. The role requires significant experience of special purpose industrial machine design, and would suit a mechanical engineering graduate or similar. Experience of management of production and tool room facilities and personnel would also be an advantage.

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for our Laser Micro Group, based out of Daventry and covering the whole of the UK. Reporting to, and working closely with the Laser Micro Manager, the role will be to develop and generate new business. This is likely to include marketing initiatives and applying laser processing to manufacturing problems to win orders. Product training is given both in the UK and Germany on an ongoing basis, previous laser experience could be useful but is not essential.

YAG laser field engineer

Our expanding solid state laser service team has a vacancy for an engineer with excellent engineering skills in electronics and computing. The candidate will be required to support customers throughout the UK and Ireland. The position entails installing mainly YAG-based laser systems at customer sites and being responsible for training and supporting new and present customers.

A good knowledge of electronics and computing is essential as well as being an excellent team player and communicator. The ideal candidate will have laser experience and a HND or degree in a relevant field.  The role will be based out of our Daventry office in Northamptonshire and provides a competitive salary, annual bonus and company car.
