Universal
All shapes and sizes
And what, if not? Thanks to the modular housing concept, you can most easily change the or the Universal to an open laser class IV device. Normally, the large processing chamber and max. four highly precise Nc-controlled axes with 600 x 300 x 200 mm (optional 800 x 400) travel should suffice. Round work pieces and two-dimensional up to simple three-dimensional geometries can be processed fast and efficiently.
Packed with technology
The integrated CNC control can handle all popular CAD formats. The Universal is packed with technology; a viewing system with crosshair, integrated and regulated gas supply board as well as teleservice functions for remote diagnosis. Convenient access to the working chamber is by a large L-shaped door; everything is tidily integrated.
Welds or cuts almost anything anywhere
Create seam and spot welds in airtight housings, electrical contacts, medical devices and implants made of metals or polymers. Suitable for small batches (for example in job shops or for prototyping), or in automated production lines. Designed for manual, semi- or fully-automatic throughput – the modular housing and control concept of the StarCut Universal does it all.
If you need it even faster
...use the dynamic beam kit: allowing the laser beam to be positioned much faster than a heavy work piece. Maybe your application can benefit from the plug & play fiber optic kit, or the pattern recognition option, or even automatic quality control of the welding process. The Universal is the new and compact all round system for your production line. And with its flexibility, it won't let you down in current or future applications.
