Leading edge laser technology

The StarWeld 40/90 provides the best laser technology for optimal welding solutions: variable pulse shaping and perfect and high pulse peak power even with smallest pulses in the sub-Joule range. Excellent beam quality of the Nd:YAG laser is achieved by the first pulse-optimized and patented Sweet Spot Resonator®. The system allows operation with time and energy sharing with up to 6 fibers and with control of max. 3 scanner heads. The energy sharing module offers further advantages: the distribution energy can be adjusted with an accuracy of better 1% and fibers with different diameters can be easily exchanged by plug & play.

Easy maintenance

The service-friendly laser cabinet is modular and compact with a removable control unit. Expansion is made easy by the controller configuration. All interface connections are located conveniently at the front. The compact focus optics, protection glass and even the cooling water filter can be replaced from the front without any tools. Monitoring the level of the cooling water is easy without opening panels. Fibers and power supply cables can be routed conveniently and installation is straightforward.
